Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse in Taurus

As the Sun transitions into the depths of Scorpio and the veil begins to thin, what once lurked in the shadows begins to slowly creep into the light. Bringing with it a seismic shift of emotion.

If at any point you feel like you’re drowning, it might just be the Universe’s way of telling you it’s time to learn how to swim.

Especially as the energies are only set to intensify, until they reach a crescendo at the Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse at 5° Taurus, on October 28th 2023 (9:15/23pm BST).

You may do well to brace for impact and expect the unexpected.

As the final Eclipse on the Taurus-Scorpio axis, there is a weight to this lunation, as it acts as a closing ceremony, marking a point of completion for the past two years of work. The only question is, are you finally ready to graduate to a new stage of your evolution.

Beginning back on November 19th 2021, at the Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse at 12° Taurus, issues around power and powerlessness, independence and dependancy, survival and victimhood, will all have been prevalent. Shining a light on your sense of security, self-worth, and values.

As Eclipses come in pairs - Solar and Lunar - the sky was repeatedly showing you two sides of the same issue, over and over again, so that you could finally face the parts of yourself or life which weren’t in balance, alignment, or whole.

What have you had to confront, heal, and integrate over the course of these past two years. What has required transformation.

Whilst the Moon is momentarily cloaked in the Earth’s shadow, stillness will be requested, so that you may take the time to contemplate these questions.

However, this moment of repose might feel somewhat challenging, as with Jupiter Rx conjunct the Moon, emotions will likely be running high, with things being magnified in such a way, that everything will likely seem bigger than it actually is. So you may wish to take heed before any potential eruption.

Additionally, if you find that old feelings suddenly resurface around particularly ancient issues, know that they merely do so in order to offer you an opportunity to respond to them in a new way. Thus, can you utilise this moment as a turning point, whereby you learn to master your emotions, lest they be the master of you.

With the Moon in opposition to the Sun, conjunct both Mercury and Mars, all in Scorpio, that which has been hidden may just find its way into the light - including aspects of yourself that require acknowledgment and integration.

As Pluto will be heavily activated during this time, death and rebirth will be prominent themes. So, much like a snake shedding its skin, are you ready to relinquish your past form, in order to embrace something altogether new. Accepting the total destruction of what once was, in order to make space for what will one day come to be.

Essentially, can you surrender. Can you let go. Not only of the past, but of control.

Something which, with these heated energies at play, may be a challenging concept, bringing power struggles to the forefront. Not just personally, but globally.

Yet with Pluto transiting through the latter degrees of Capricorn, aspecting Uranus (Rx in Taurus), Venus (in Virgo), and Neptune (Rx in Pisces), the structure of [your] life is in review and thus, anything not in alignment with the highest spiritual intention is going to be dismantled, in a potentially shocking and unexpected way.

Thus, you may do well to prepare for the loss of that which no longer serves, in the acknowledgment that it is merely the completion of a cycle.

However, if you find this sudden shift raises feelings of fear, or anxiety, especially around your sense of security, know that the past two years have been preparing you for precisely this moment.

Thus, can you learn to find stability within, whilst all else is in motion. Can you develop a sense of internal security, that does not rely on external factors. Can you take ownership of your shadow, so as not to fear other’s. Can you embrace your personal power by utilising it to empower.

And can you find the value in your life, in yourself, and in your voice, so that all you do is in alignment with it.

If so, you may just be ready for graduation after all.
