Mars-Uranus Conjunction + Full Moon in Capricorn

If the past few years have felt somewhat destabilising, with the landscape of your life dramatically, and perhaps unexpectedly, changing in some regard, then you may wish to brace yourself for the final volcanic eruption set to come.

Beginning on January 20th 2021, Uranus and Mars began a dance in Taurus, coming into conjunction at 6º of the sign, awakening you to your unconscious needs and desires.

Something which may have proved to be an uncomfortable wakeup call, as it highlighted where there was misalignment in certain areas of your life and relationships, and asked you to take action.

As Uranus and Mars continued this dance - coming into conjunction once again on August 2nd 2023 at 18º and recently, for the final time (in your lifetime!) in Taurus, on July 15th at 26º - the growing pressure to evolve your relationship to self built, with the Universe asking you to embrace a higher perspective when it comes to life and what you want out of it.

This was a call for change, pushing you to reassess your relationship to and beliefs around power, pleasure, desire, money, possessions, and self-worth. Asking you to acknowledge where you’ve been holding yourself in a state of lack and limitation.

In this process of self-reflection, you may have found that deeply ingrained fears arose and old, out-dated patterns and conditioning became evident, requiring you to reprogram your mind.

Whilst this may have been confronting, as you came face-to-face with certain aspects of yourself that you have long been unconscious to or in denial of, this was ultimately an opportunity for you to envision, invent, and create a more expansive and fulfilling life through the act of self-liberation.

Now, with Mars ingressing into Gemini on July 20th, followed by a potent Full Moon occurring at a critical 29º Capricorn the following day (11:16am BST), this cosmic dance is set to reach a potentially dramatic point of completion.

Conjunct retrograde Pluto at 0º Aquarius, this lunation - the second of its kind this year - will draw things to a close in a radical way. Demanding an end to what once was in order to fully embrace what is yet to come.

In opposition to the Sun at 29º Cancer, this is the heralding of new life, as you birth into being an unbridled version of yourself. One that is willing to show up authentically and responsibly, by taking ownership of your power, your healing, and the fulfilment of your needs and desires. In the acknowledgement that no one can, nor should, do that for you.

Whilst it’s likely that Pluto will imbue this lunation with an intensity that may at times feel challenging, its request is that you learn to sit in the discomfort of what arises, investigating the feeling, in order to develop some mastery over your emotions, lest they be the master of you.

In doing so, you may find that you are better equipped to deal with the difficult conversations that are equally likely to arise during this time, as Mercury in Leo squares up to Mars in Gemini still loosely conjunct Uranus in Taurus. A tense configuration that will push for honest communication, asking that you express the truth of who you are and how you feel with those around you - regardless of the consequences.

Better to be hurt by the truth than killed by the lie, as they say.

Especially as with Neptune in Pisces positively activated under this lunation, it’s time to release yourself from the binds, in whatever form they take. So be prepared to surrender that which falls away during this period, in the acknowledgement that it has fulfilled its obligation to you.

Trusting the process will be essential.

If embraced, this could ultimately prove to be a pivotal moment, whereby you are catapulted into alignment with your destined path ahead (North Node in Aries - courageously being yourSELF). Seeing life unfold in a BIG way.

Yet it may not be until October 12th, when Pluto stations direct at the same degree as this lunation, that you truly receive the rewards of this transformative opportunity, as these issues - especially around personal power - are re-visited. Offering you an insight into just how far you’ve come.
