Mars Cazimi + Full Moon in Gemini
If you were looking for an opportunity to start again…again, then this might just be it.
On November 17th, the Mars cazimi in Scorpio - last witnessed in 1991! - initiated something of a re-birth, reinvigorating you with the energy and enthusiasm to continue onwards along your journey of transformation.
And merely days later, this Sun-Mars conjunction then transited into the sign of Sagittarius, further beckoning you to seek higher ground.
Yet, as this dynamic duo come into opposition with the Full Moon at 4° Gemini on November 27th (9:16am GMT), in turn making a square to Saturn at 0° Pisces, the arising impetus to take action may get somewhat thwarted by the genuine need to first consider all the details.
Therefore, this may prove to be an apt time to recall the ideas and inspiration which arose during the New Moon at 26° Gemini, back on June 18th, at the beginning of this Mercurial cycle. What seeds were sown. What dreams were planted. And do they still hold a space within your heart and mind. Or have they shape-shifted into new forms. Or dissipated altogether.
During this lunation, it’s time to examine what still stands, what’s still worthy of pursuit, and thus in turn, what’s ultimately required for manifestation. With Pluto in Capricorn weighing in on the process, expect the question of whether you’re really willing to put your money where your mouth is - when it comes to getting what you want - to be prominent.
Square the South Node conjunct Venus, both in Libra, are you ready to finally break with old patterns of behaviour - in the understanding that old ways don’t open new doors - and embrace the energy and encouragement of the opposing North Node-Chiron conjunction in Aries, by facing your fears and doing something courageously different.
In the midst of doing so, with Jupiter and Uranus, both in Taurus, additionally aspected by Pluto, irrational fears, especially around matters of survival, may suddenly run rampant, yet only to push you to confront them. Asking if you’re capable of replacing them with faith.
If that seems like a somewhat challenging concept, then perhaps this is an ideal opportunity for you to investigate the reasons why. Asking yourself what lays beneath the thoughts, fears, and emotions which arise when faced with certain situations.
As you delve into the ancestry of your habitual responses and reactions, can you learn to recognise what it is that truly makes you feel expansive, contractive, soothed, or sad. Acknowledging for yourself what needs feeling and what ultimately just needs releasing.
In the wake of this lunation, the path ahead will no doubt become clear, along with what is required in order to journey along it, such as your courage and conviction. May you journey well.
