New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries

After what may have seemed an arduous labour, induced way back when, on March 21st, your creation, in whatever form it takes, will finally birth into the world on April 20th, courtesy of this year’s second New Moon in Aries.

Announcing its arrival with a cry which may prove deafening, it will bring with it a sense of adulation, or perhaps, trepidation, as the reality of parenthood and responsibility kicks in.

Adding weight to this climatic moment, is the occurrence, only minutes later, of a rare Hybrid Solar Eclipse at a critical 29° of Aries. The first in a series for 2023.

Conjunct the North Node in Taurus, merely 4° away, and square to Pluto, destiny is truly unfolding, yet it will require some self-mastery, in order for you to catapult in the desired direction.

Thus, you will be required to develop the confidence to take charge and enter into this new phase of existence, with the understanding that you need not know the path ahead, nor how to navigate it - you simply need to accept that you will learn along the way.

As Chiron will continue to be activated during this time - making a conjunction to Jupiter - in order to assist you on your journey, your wounds will be tasked with becoming your weapons. If you can integrate the lessons hard learnt over a lifetime, in order to utilise them for positive effect, this period may turn out to be your most rewarding and expansive yet.

Especially as Jupiter - in an additional conjunction to the Sun and Moon - will be square to Pluto at 0° Aquarius, indicating that this will be an opportunity to liberate yourself from the past, so as to take radical action towards a more progressive future.

However, this shift will be unlikely to come without its obstacles. And if not external, then you may just come to find that it’s the internal ones which cause you the most upheaval. So, prepare to wrestle with the fear that dwells inside and the doubt which keeps you captive.

With Mercury - preparing to station retrograde the following day - conjunct Uranus, both in Taurus, this process has the potential to cause a sense of mental disturbance, whereby clarity is momentarily hard found, yet the Universe is merely offering you the opportunity to shake open your mind, in order to see things a little differently.

Asking if you can you break out of the habitual, in order to open yourself up to a more conscious way of looking at things.

Such as your sense of security.

As with a trine to Mars in Cancer, this lunation will be calling you to do the core work, requesting that you release the attachment to anything external, as a means of safety, and come to recognise that the only true stability is that which you develop within.

Additionally, with Saturn in Pisces aspecting both Mars and the Sun-Moon conjunction, you are further encouraged to connect in with yourself on a deeper, more intuitive level. One which goes beyond logic, beyond form, beyond fear. To an aspect of your being which operates purely on faith and higher guidance.

But are you capable of trusting the voice that’s been whispering in the darkness all along.

If so, a strong impulse for alignment may arise, pushing you to take stock, when it comes to the inventory of your life. Calling you to consider as to whether your actions and values are in cohesion; If you have an affirmative boundary when it comes to self and other; And as to whether there’s a clash between what you desire and what you feel is attainable.

And in the aftermath of such introspection, Saturn, square to Venus in Gemini, will embolden you to fearlessly relinquish that which no longer serves you, in order to make space for that which does.
