Full Moon in Cancer

It’s often only in the midst of a storm that you discover what’s truly stable enough to withstand. And sometimes it’s only in the aftermath, once the skies have cleared, that you realise the magnitude of what was lost to the chaos.

It can either be a reckoning, awakening you to the true value of that which you still have, or a moment of disillusionment, as you grieve that which nature felt you no longer required.

Some things are out of your control…how you choose to respond isn’t one of them.

On January 13th (10:26pm GMT), under the light of the Full Moon at 23º Cancer, you will be called to consider your response as the clouds begin to gather, threatening all sense of safety and calm.

With Mars having retrograded back into Cancer, making a conjunction to the Moon, this lunation is likely to invoke some emotional volatility as it induces seismic waves that pull the most sensitive - and potentially historic - issues residing within your deepest depths up and onto the shore, in order that they finally be acknowledged and resolved.

Something which may feel deeply challenging and unsettling, as with a square to Chiron in Aries, your most personal issues will be highlighted, so as to push you into doing the work required to heal and integrate the wounding to Self. The one that leaves you feeling in anyway that you, as you inherently are, are not enough. That you are incapable. Unworthy. Or unlovable.

As the Sun in Capricorn will be conjunct Pluto in Aquarius and caught in a T-Square with the Moon/Mars and Chiron, it’s time to release your burdens by learning to differentiate your nature from the ways in which it’s been nurtured. Seeing the truth of who you ARE versus that which you have been told to be or become through adaptation to your environment.

Can you shed the past maladapted version of yourself in order to connect with your authentic future self. Can you willingly change form.

In the process of this transformation, you may find yourself considering as to what your present self’s emotional needs are and as to whether they’re currently being met.

With the Moon/Mars trine to Venus conjunct Saturn in Pisces, you may find yourself suddenly yearning for a deeper connection with those around you, leading to some relationships solidifying and some dissipating altogether. The latter of which may leave you feeling hurt or disappointed, yet trust that by surrendering that which does not align, you merely create space for that which does.

Thus, if something gets washed away during this lunation, let it go. You no longer require it.

As this Full Moon will be drawing to a close a cycle which began back on July 5th 2024, at the New Moon at 14º Cancer - when you were asked to consider as to what you wanted to birth into being and what was creating your labour pains - it’s time to draw things to a point of completion and deliver new life to the world.

Therefore, can you see this as the final push (North Node at a critical 29º Aries) towards your dreams (conjunct Neptune in Pisces), consciously moving through any blockages (internal or external) in order to bring things into being.

With Jupiter retrograde in Gemini square to Venus conjunct Saturn, it’s time to EXPAND your consciousness and your life!
