New Moon in Pisces
Boundaries - self-imposed or otherwise - are at times necessary, in order to protect your energy, or to keep you safe, and sometimes they are impediments, simply getting in the way.
Since the Sun transitioned into the sign of Pisces on February 19th, you may have found that your own boundaries - or lack thereof - were becoming evident.
Digging into the depths of your subconscious, the Sun intended on illuminating the reasons why you fail to uphold a barrier when required, and/or have created one so thick it’s actually isolated you from what and who you love.
If you found that this exploration had emotions running high, then the Sun’s conjunction to Neptune (exact on March 17th) may have only served to intensify matters.
Thus, it would certainly not have been irrational nor unreasonable to have felt awash with a sense of overwhelm during this time, as you swam through the murky depths of your historical imprinting, in an attempt to finally discern fact from fiction.
In matters like these, the key perhaps is to do as the Pisces do and have compassion for yourself. After all, you are but spirit attempting to move through a world of dense matter.
Whilst this journey is set to continue for many weeks to come, on March 10th (9am GMT), the Moon will also come to conjunct the Sun at 20º Pisces, not only initiating a new lunar cycle, but additionally, highlighting the themes that will be prevalent at the upcoming Lunar Eclipse on March 25th, at 5º Libra.
With the latter being conjunct the South Node and the New Moon immersed in the depths of Pisces, issues around healing, releasing, and integrating will be prominent.
Hence the importance of utilising this time to really get clear on where you feel wounded; what wounded you; and how that wound has impacted your life. Seeing how certain occurrences in the past have affected you in the present.
As Saturn will be weighing in on things, conjoining the Sun and Moon, it’s time to commit to the emotional labour of dealing with that which you may have until now been in denial of. As they say, your wound may not be your fault, but your healing is your responsibility. And you can be assured that Saturn’s about to hold you accountable.
If you find the process challenging and confronting, know that the reward for your perseverance is ultimately liberation; from the past, the pain, and from that which binds you.
In fact, with a sextile to the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus (exact April 21st), this lunation is actively calling for you to break out and break free. So expect a wake up call if you’ve been sleep walking through life, living within the confinement of your comfort zone. Because these two are pushing you to expand - your values, your money, your life! - encouraging you to let go of the shore in order to explore new horizons.
Yet, dependable on how attached you are to your present location, an exploration into the great unknown may simply arise in you an equally great amount of trepidation. The issue is, the more you cling, the more turbulent the ride.
So again, learn to do as the Pisces do: surrender, be open to the unknown, and learn to go with the flow.
If that seems like something of an impossible notion and you find yourself in need of support, trust that it will come in the form of Venus conjunct Mars in Aquarius. Squaring the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, the intensity of energy they collectively create, in their mutual fixed signs, will galvanise you into taking action, by pushing you to consider which is more important: what you love or what you fear.
In acknowledging what you’d be more willing to lose, you may just find yourself imbued with the passion and determination to go after that which you desire. Emboldening yourself to take great leaps of faith into the chasm of uncertainty. Into the great unknown.
As Mercury will ingress into Aries on the same day - making a sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, along with a conjunction to Neptune, the Sun, and Moon - your courage will be rewarded in the form of self-transformation. Meaning, you will no longer be what you once were, but you will have become all that you were meant to be.
