Full Moon in Aquarius

In the midst of a crowded room, is it possible for you to hold onto your sense of self. Are you able to remain conscious of your connection to the collective, whilst traversing your individual journey. Can you be true to who you are, when the world tries to convince you to be someone else.

Just some of the questions which may have arisen at the Aquarian New Moon, back on January 21st 2023.

In the months which followed, experiences and events may have offered you clarity on such matters, perhaps forcing you to acknowledge where you might have blurred the lines, when it came to collectivism versus individualism. Where you may have abandoned your authenticity, for the perceived perception of conformity.

Yet on August 1st 2023, at 7:31pm BST, the Moon will reach a peak point of fullness at 9° of Aquarius, bringing these issues to a head.

Sitting closer to the Earth than usual in its orbit, the potency of this lunation will be ripe and the effects felt more strongly than usual. Thus, you’d do well to prepare for sensitivity with the willingness to accept and embrace what arises.

With the Moon caught in a t-square, involving an opposition to the Sun in Leo and a subsequent square to Jupiter conjunct Uranus, both in Taurus, the Universe is trying to teach you that your individualistic self-expression is a revolutionary act and one that results in your liberation. And in turn, the liberation of those around you.

Thus, can you accept that what makes you different is actually what makes you special. And that a world which pushes or shames you to conform, is a broken one, afraid of its own creative power.

As Pluto Rx in Capricorn will be heavily activated during this lunation, as its square to the Lunar Nodes - sitting on the Aries-Libra axis - becomes exact at 28°, taking ownership of your uniqueness may just bring about a radical shift, when it comes to power dynamics between yourself and others.

Asking if you’re ready to take back the power you’ve been (consciously or not) giving to others, in the recognition that you are the saviour you’ve been looking for. You are the only authority you need.

And as such, you are the only person who can take responsibility for your life and the direction it’s heading in.

With Venus - having just embarked on its introspective 40 day journey - conjunct Mercury in Virgo, sitting at the apex of a yod, courtesy of two inconjuncts from Pluto Rx and Neptune Rx in Pisces, it’s time to bring things into alignment.

Are you living your life in accordance with your core values, with your truths, with your aspirations in mind. Or have you drifted into denial, avoidance, and fear. Perpetually putting off doing what you know needs to be done. What you know would serve you.

And if so, it may be high time to confront your reasons why. Is it possible that there are still wounds in need of healing. Conditioning in need of dismantling.

Adding pressure to the moment will be Saturn Rx in Pisces, opposing Venus Rx, Mercury, and Mars in Virgo, stipulating that the time for procrastination is well and truly done, it’s finally time to do the work. And that starts from within. So you may do well to prepare to face that which you’ve been avoiding, in the understanding that leaps become falls if the willingness to take them is lacking.

At the core of it though, this Full Moon offers you the opportunity for self-realisation. Whereby you finally come to accept, embrace, and value the totality of who you are, in all your uniqueness, and as such, begin to live your life with the knowledge that everything you do which supports your growth, your dreams, your evolution, is a radical act of service to mankind.
